That same day we ended up going to Kiddie Park with all of the same people above and Tim's dad came along. (He was working earlier in the day). We had a good time and all rode the train and the merry go round.
Tim and I took a few days off of work and went back to Columbus at the end of last week. We wanted to see the rest of the zoo and go to the waterpark since we still had our passes. Well the passes had a black out date on them of August 20-22 which is hilarious because those are the exact dates we were there..lol. Oh well, I dont think Avery would have liked the waterpark anyways. We took her swimming for the first time in a real pool at the hotel and she was not a fan. She didn't seem to like it at all. I am hoping she was just scared since it was her first time and the next time she will enjoy it more.
We went to the zoo on Thursdays morning and were there for about an hour and a half and then it downpoured. It rained for awhile so we decided to go back to the hotel for a few hours and take a nap. We then went back to the zoo. We got to the zoo and it started raining again! I guess we are never meant to go to the zoo since every time we go, it rains. It eventually stopped raining and we had a good time. We got to see the lions so up close. I never knew their tongues were so rough!
Right before we head out of the house to leave for Columbus, Tim got subpoenaed to go to court this Monday for the bullet hole that went through our garage. I don't understand how they expect him to show up with 3 business days notice. He is currently booked for the next two weeks and when he doesn't go to work, he doesn't get paid. We called and there is no way for him to get paid when he comes to court. All because some idiot decided to shoot a gun in a neighborhood where the houses are on top of each other. I guess it could be worse. At least no one got hurt.
Avery got her two year pictures taken last Wednesday. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the previews that Katie showed us. I am so excited to see the rest of the pics. If you are looking to get pictures taken, I highly recommend http://www.kathrynbarnettphotography.com :-)
