Months and Months of Pictures (May and June) Renovations are Done!

Happy Mother's Day! Every year I take a pic of me holding both kids. You will see the picture below. I don't know if I will be able to next year because they are getting heavy. Reagan graduated from preschool at her daycare!

Biggest news in months....

THE KITCHEN IS DONE! It looks so amazing. Tim and the contractors did a fantastic job. It looks like a kitchen from a magazine. Tim did a lot of the work himself. It was a LONG 6 months but in the end, it was definitely worth it.

Buddy, Momma and Ray Ray

I made Momma these things at school

Reagan made this for Momma

Reagan will be going to my school in the fall!

Ray and I made cards for Grandma. This is us posing for the cards that we made.

Our temporary kitchen is out of Reagan's room. We were lucky that Daddy is so handy and was able to set that up to begin with.

Months and Months of Pictures (March and April)

So that deposit we put down to hold the countertops so they wouldn't give them to someone else failed. We were frustrated that we put a deposit down for nothing and that our project was going to be even further behind. Tim had an idea to make the countertops himself using epoxy.  They look really good. He did a great job.

April was VERY hard for me. My cat, Sophie, that I have had for 17 years died. She has been through everything with me. Two apartments, two houses, 4 dogs, 3 cats, two children...just everything. I'm tearing up even as I write this and it has been 9 months since she died. I am happy she didn't suffer. She wasn't in any pain or had any health problems. Tim just found her laying on the ground by the food bowl. Tim made her a cute little casket.
