We finally got to meet Avery and Reagan's twin cousins, Eddie and Auggie. They are so cute. Reagan loved them and Avery was scared of them..lol.

Avery and Reagan actually smiled for their picture with Santa. I am happy they did, since the cheapest package at the mall was $39!!
The kitchen remodel is coming along nicely! The temporary wall came down, the room has been painted, we bought light fixtures and Tim installed the flooring. We used leftover flooring from when we pulled the carpet up in the living room. Eventually we want different flooring for the living room and kitchen but we are using this for now to save money because of course, we are over budget.
I had surgery on Jan 6 to fix my trigger thumb. I couldn't bend it. When I finally was able to bend it, I couldn't straighten it back up. I have tried cortisone shots and prednisone, but nothing helped so surgery it was. It is much better now. I am happy I had the surgery.

We closed up the coat closet on the right. We ended up making an opening on the kitchen/dining room side and that will be the new pantry. The old pantry will become the new coat closet.
This is the paint color we chose. It's called Grey Owl by Benjamin Moore.
The floor is finished and the lights are installed.
Mommy and Daddy both like this coutertop so that is most likely what we are going to get.
Surgery is done. All wrapped up and time to go home.
