Happy Easter! (really late) and Holy sickness

I hope you all had a good Easter. Avery LOVED finding Easter eggs. She has been hiding plastic Easter eggs ever since. She sometimes has us find them and sometimes she looks for them herself. Its so cute when she acts surprised she found one when she is the one that hid it.

Ever since Easter we have been battling sickness over here. First it was Reagan at the ER. Then it was Tim, then me and finally Avery. She started with an ear infection two weeks ago Thursday. She was given ear antibiotics. Then the next day then we got a callfrom daycare saying she had a fever. She couldnt get rid of the fever by that Monday so we went to the doctor's again. This time she had a cough as well and was given oral antibiotics. By Thursday she still had a fever and bad cough so we went to the doctors again. They diagnosed her with bronchiolitis which explains the coughing and the fevers. She still had a bunch of draining from her left ear so they changed her eardrop antibiotics to Ciprodex. She was also wheezing pretty bad and they gave her a breathing treatment. They wanted her to start getting albuterol treatments every 4 hours and come back the next day to check on her wheezing. So Friday she went back to the doctors. That means she was at the doctors 4 times in a week! Luckily the next day her wheezing had improved. She is finally starting to feel better and doesnt have the fevers anymore. She still has bouts of coughing where she can't stop but she is finally getting better.

Here are some pics from my old phone from last month...

Almost didn't make it to the march this year...

We ended up taking Reagan to the ER Saturday night . Daycare called around 4:30 pm on Friday and said Reagan had a temp of 101.2. She had been coughing. On Saturday she wasn't getting any better and I didn't want to have to wait until the urgent care opened at noon on Saturday for her to be seen. I took her to Brunswick ER around 6pm. Her breathing seemed to be fast and she seemed to be working harder than normal to breathe. When we got there her temp was 99.2. We had given her Tylenol two hours prior.

They started examining her. They first did a nasal swab for flu and RSV. I was praying she didn't have RSV because it was horrible with her being in the hospital for 8 days in January. Then they decided to do a chest xray because of her breathing. Giving a baby a chest xray is the worst! They put them in this little plastic capsule and make you hold your babies arms up while they are screaming. Its pretty traumatizing.

After they did the chest xray, they tried to get an IV in her and had trouble and had to try multiple times, all while I had to hold her down. They then took some blood work and gave her some fluids. They said the chest xray came back normal and the RSV/flu was negative. They said the labs came back normal except for an elevated white blood count which is expected if she is sick.

They ended up sending us home and just diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection. The past two nights she has projectile vomited while feeding her at night. We took her to the doctors tonight and the doctor said she was wheezing but not enough to need anything. She said she can continue to wheeze for a few weeks. She recommend she stay home from daycare tomorrow as well.

Since Reagan didn't end up being admitted on Saturday, I ended up attending the March of Dimes Walk. Tim's sister, Terri, and future sister in law, Laura, also participated. I wanted to thank them for coming with me and fundraising. You guys are awesome! I also want to thank everyone who donated. I am just going to use first names.. Janet, Sharon, Gerry, Terri, Laura, Loretta, Amanda, Harper, Grandma and Grandpa, Diana and the anonymous donor who is part of the December 2016 babies group on Facebook.. thank you all so much!

I just got a new phone so these are newer pictures. I have some older pictures I will still need to upload. Sorry these will be out of order. I will post the older pics in the next post

One of my favorite things is bubbles!! I love bubbles!

Joe likes to try to eat the bubbles

I used to hate the chickens but now I love going out there and feeding them. I flap my arms like chicken wings.
