Some updates...finally

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. We have been busy with doctors appointments, Joe, and being sick. Also I was having trouble downloading pictures from my phone onto my computer. The computer I normally use is out of commission because a certain, cute puppy..I won’t name any names, chewed the cord to the charger and the new computer was not recognizing my phone.

Reagan had an appointment for an ultrasound of her head a few weeks ago. She has always had a huge bump on her forehead. You can see it in some pictures. The pediatrician ordered an ultrasound just to make sure it wasn’t anything to be concerned about. The ultrasound tech performed the ultrasound and then the doctor came in and also performed the ultrasound to double check. The ultrasound shows Reagan’s head and brain are normal but she does have some extra fluid around her brain. Tim asked the doctor if it was normal and she said some kids have it and some don’t. I don’t think its concerning unless Reagan’s head circumference starts to get larger at a fast rate. Otherwise the extra fluid should eventually reabsorb. No wonder why Reagan has such a big head!

This is an old pic but you can see the bump on her right side of her forehead. It looks like a big knot

Sickness has been running through our household and it hasn’t been fun. Avery and I were coughing and congested and after a week we went to Express Care. We were told it was viral and weren’t given anything. I was getting sicker and it was turning into a sinus infection so I eventually called my doctor and got antibiotics. Luckily, Avery ended up getting better. Then a few days later, I was sick as a dog. I couldn’t be more than 10 feet from the bathroom with all of the vomiting and diarrhea that was going on. I slept from 3pm until 7am the next day (besides the time I was in the bathroom). It was horrible. Luckily I started feeling better because then Tim got it the next day. Thankfully, the kids never got it (which by the way, is a miracle)

Joe has been adjusting well. He has only had two accidents in the month and a half that we have had him. The cats still avoid him at all costs and spend much of their time in the basement. I am hoping they will start to tolerate him.

They are only a month apart (this pic is a little old because Reagan will be 6 months old on April 15!)

Here is my cute sister!

This is my buddy Joe.
