It has been a busy month.
Avery went back to school 4 days a week. She seemed happy to
be back…until we got the email saying they are going all remote now due to
increases in coronavirus cases. I understand their decision but its difficult
on everyone, the kids, the teachers, the parents. Hopefully they will be back
to in person learning soon.
We went to the farm/pumpkin patch that we went to last year
when I read the hours wrong and were there a few hours before they opened. Luckily
this year I read the info correctly. We went on a Friday that Avery didn’t have
school so we took them out of daycare a few hours early. We got to daycare to
pick them up and I realized it was pajama day at daycare so we had to stop home
and grab them clothes. (mom fail!) They
had fun at the farm and there was so much to do there. The weather was 75 and
amazing for October in Cleveland but that means the place was packed! We were a
little uncomfortable being there and about an hour and a half after we were
there it started to rain so we left. Next year we are going to go back early in
the season so it isn’t so crowded.
Avery had dental surgery on Reagan's birthday..October 15. We had issues with her original dentist and were lucky to be worked into the schedule with this new dentist..They were very accommodating but we did call the ombudsman (hospital liaison) on the original dentist because they were just rude. They said since we saw another dentist, they were no longer our primary dentist and wouldn't see us. I never knew getting a second opinion was a bad thing though we weren't even getting a second opinion. . We saw another dentist because we thought they could help Avery without her being completely put under but that wasn't the case. Anyways, we appreciate this new dentist that helped us. Avery had to get 3 teeth pulled and 4 cavities filled. Avery mentioned the tooth fairy when she was going back for surgery. When she came out of surgery, the dentist gave us a little container with her teeth, $3 for the teeth and a glow stick. I thought it was so cute they went above and beyond. I did later send a letter to the ombudsman saying we had a great experience with this dentist and her office. Avery was so excited to put her teeth under her pillow that night and when she woke up, she got money that had glitter on it!
We celebrated Reagan's 4th birthday. I still can't believe my baby is 4! She is so adorable and so smart..what 4 year old says grandma needs to 'mend' my dress? LOL. she must learn this stuff at daycare because she doesn't learn it from Tim and I..though she does still say tomato chips instead of potato chips :)
I apologize that the pictures are all out of order. Not going to lie, I am too lazy to fix it at the moment.
