July, August, September (Tonsils/Adenoid Removal, tubes in both ears, 1st day of School, Avery's birthdayl)

Avery had yet another surgery in July. This time it was for Tonsil and Adenoid removal. I was super worried about this surgery because I know what it is like to have tonsils taken out. I was 25 when I had mine removed and it was HORRIBLE. I would do it again though because I rarely get sick now. Before, I was getting sick every other week and my tonsils would get so big that they would touch.

Avery did amazing! She had the surgery and ended up spending the night at the hospital to make sure she would eat/drink before being sent home. She did much better than we thought she would. We did keep up with her pain meds around the clock even if she was feeling ok. Avery never tells you if she is in pain. There was a point where I could tell she was really hurting and I gave her the liquid narcotic pain meds they gave us. Anyways, she healed up well and she hardly ever snores now.

Avery turned 11 on August 30. I cannot believe how fast she is growing up. Time needs to slow down.

This summer the kids got to go to Great Wolf Lodge with me and went to Tennessee with Tim and his family.

Avery started 5th grade at the end of August. She is at a new school (the middle school) and has a new intervention specialist, new bus, new routine, etc. She was a little nervous but she just goes with the flow of things. She still loves going to school and I am so happy about that. Her class has some peer pals (students that are a few years older) that help them with gym and other things. Avery loves when her pal, Ava, shows up.

Reagan started 1st grade. She was a little nervous because she didn't have her big sister to show her around. She knew a few kids on the bus and met some new friends. I am so relieved and happy that school is going well for the both of them.

Hanging out with my cousins at my birthday party!

Mommy and Buddy

When we were on vacation with Daddy, Mommy was house sitting and watching the pups. She sat outside on the deck, working from home one day and Joe decided he wanted to jump in the pool. He has never been in the pool before. Mommy said she had to jump in after him and she had a hard time getting him out of the pool because he is so heavy. They were both panicking a little but she finally got him out. Look at him, I think he is proud of himself.

Ry decided to dress herself one day. She put on a t-shirt, shorts, a dress, knee-high pantyhose, socks over the pantyhose and was carrying around an umbrella.

I love playing with Lily!

Me and Momma

We went and saw the Barbie movie

Uggghh, surgery day.

Feeling ok after surgery because I was given pain killers

I did spend the night at the hospital and the next day I ate a little bit of a quesadilla, pudding and drank some juice so I got to go home.

This is Lily showing off all of my food options for recovery from my tonsillectomy. I also had yogurt, pudding, applesauce, ice cream, and popsicles.

Reagan told Mommy to take a pic of her. She said, "Look Mommy, i look just like you".

Me and Momma

Look at Reagan's missing teeth!

Fun at the fair

Great Wolf Lodge

We are way too big to be on this ride..lol

This was Reagan's favorite part. They had a zoo/animal section and she LOVED feeding the parakeets. I was scared and sat right outside those doors for 20 minutes while Reagan was in there.

My first day of 5th grade!

First day of 1st grade! Mommy has to take our annual 1st day of school picture by the front door.

Ray, having fun, waiting for the bus

Happy birthday to me! (Mommy says ignore the edible image on the cake..lol)

Grandma and Grandpa B

They are so cute

We finally have beds in our room at Mommy's place. Medes decided to make herself comfortable. :)

Do we hang out in our room on our new beds? No, of course not. We hang out in Mommy's bed
