They started examining her. They first did a nasal swab for flu and RSV. I was praying she didn't have RSV because it was horrible with her being in the hospital for 8 days in January. Then they decided to do a chest xray because of her breathing. Giving a baby a chest xray is the worst! They put them in this little plastic capsule and make you hold your babies arms up while they are screaming. Its pretty traumatizing.
After they did the chest xray, they tried to get an IV in her and had trouble and had to try multiple times, all while I had to hold her down. They then took some blood work and gave her some fluids. They said the chest xray came back normal and the RSV/flu was negative. They said the labs came back normal except for an elevated white blood count which is expected if she is sick.
They ended up sending us home and just diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection. The past two nights she has projectile vomited while feeding her at night. We took her to the doctors tonight and the doctor said she was wheezing but not enough to need anything. She said she can continue to wheeze for a few weeks. She recommend she stay home from daycare tomorrow as well.
Since Reagan didn't end up being admitted on Saturday, I ended up attending the March of Dimes Walk. Tim's sister, Terri, and future sister in law, Laura, also participated. I wanted to thank them for coming with me and fundraising. You guys are awesome! I also want to thank everyone who donated. I am just going to use first names.. Janet, Sharon, Gerry, Terri, Laura, Loretta, Amanda, Harper, Grandma and Grandpa, Diana and the anonymous donor who is part of the December 2016 babies group on Facebook.. thank you all so much!
I just got a new phone so these are newer pictures. I have some older pictures I will still need to upload. Sorry these will be out of order. I will post the older pics in the next post
