New school year and a new hearing aid!

I can't believe summer is over. The kids have been loving going swimming at our house and in Grandma and Grandpa S's pool. Avery is getting brave and sticking her head under water. We have also went to a few county fairs which is my favorite thing to do in the summer.
Avery started 1st grade on Aug 19. Hard to believe we have a first grader. She is going to have somewhat the same set up she had last year. She will be in the general first grade class for things like music and PE but will go into smaller groups for math, writing, etc.

We FINALLY got the approval for her new hearing aid. Thank you to Avery's ENT team for helping with the appeal. We went Thursday and it went well...besides the fact that Avery now doesn't want a red headband for her hearing aid, she now wants purple and pink. We will have to order a few colors. She had a bunch of stickers to choose from and she chose to put a soccer ball sticker on her hearing aid.

It took me so long to post an update because I have been having nothing but problems with getting my pictures uploaded on my new computer. It still doesn't connect correctly so trying to upload them is a pain.

When you go to the fair, you need to try lots of fair food!

And take silly pictures

Reagan and I got to ride ponies!

and a different kind of pony

And pet some animals

We went for icecream the one day and I saw my kindergarten teacher. Of course I hid and acted like I didn't know her. When she was gone I decided to be silly

Chickens are ready to turn in for the night. They always put themselves in the coop and roost when it starts to get dark out

There is a baby chicken hiding under this white one

We went swimming with our cousins at Grandma and Grandpa S's pool

Fun with Snap Chat... and Lily

We got new googles! This was the only time Reagan wore hers... lol

Mommy matched us!

Someone, not mentioning any names....ok it was Reagan, decided to write on the kitchen walls with permanent marker

Reagan's hair is so cute like this!

Our 90lbs problem child had to go to the vet this past week because he has a rash

Here are some pics from the Asian Lantern Festival at the zoo. We had a really good time! I kept telling mommy i wanted to see the wolves and when we finally got to them, it was dark out and couldn't see them!

We were watching birds while we were waiting for the gates to open

Trying to read the map

Reagan was bad and tried to go under the ropes!

The tiger was really active when we were there

Happy First Day of School!
